Minas Tirith looks great in RTX powered Minecraft
This map created was actually served as a small part of the Minecraft Middle-Earth project. For Minecraft Middle-Earth, we can call it a project that aims to recreate the entire map of Middle-earth in Minecraft. In the Minecraft Middle-Earth project, besides the locations we are familiar with from the series, there will be regions that we have not seen in the movie series before, but that we know from the books. You will start this project from the Dead End of the Shire area, home of Bilbo and Frodo. Players will be able to descend deep into Moria, cross the tower of Isengard and travel as far as the Minas Tirith castle.
According to the information announced about the project, this map consists of 29,000 by 30,000 blocks and was created using WorldPainter and WorldMachine systems. According to the team, this corresponds to an area of 870 square kilometers. If we give a real-world sampling with these numbers, it can be said that it is the same size as the Dallas or Fort Worth regions in Texas. Also in the video Minecraft RTXRay Tracing features of the is also included. You can take a look at the related video below.
